If so, this position could be perfect for you! Our client is a market leader in supplying low carbon technology solutions. They are looking for an Assembler to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in with wiring products or basic electrical background.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding parts lists for each build and verifying specifications.
  • Following assembly procedures, ensuring components are fitted correctly and testing the products.
  • Can-do attitude showing the drive and dedication to do the work to and above the required standards.
  • After initial training, the candidate will be expected to be able to complete each job within the allocated time, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Utilising the in-house IT system to access and record all information required for successful completion of the job.
  • Flagging any stock shortages, tooling issues or other assembly concerns in a timely manner.
  • Operating moving and lifting equipment safely.
  • Working efficiently and effectively to minimise wastage.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, including tooling and other equipment.
  • Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and working safely at all times.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous electrical assembly experience.
  • Practical, with the ability to use a range of hand tools.
  • The ability to read and understand procedures and technical drawings (wiring diagrams).
  • A focus on quality control and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • IT literate.
