Customer Interaction Manager - Brand and Creative Lead - 6 Month FTC

Acting as a Centre of Excellence to support all ALDI countries, the International Media team is on a mission to lead the development of a world-class media and advertising operation within the ever-changing grocery sector. Set up in 2021 and on track to deliver significant business.
We are seeking an ambitious interim International Brand & Creative Lead to spearhead the discovery period, design and setup of Aldi's International Brand and Creative teams within International Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ALDI's global brand and creative operations, driving innovation, efficiency and effectiveness across international markets.

This role will be pivotal in guiding the strategic direction of these new teams, ensuring that our operations are sustainable and set up for success.

Your New Role:

Strategic Planning & Validation

  • Lead on a discovery period to establish a comprehensive baseline of current marketing, branding, and creative operations.
  • Identify and analyse key opportunities for growth and efficiency, as well as potential challenges and risks.
  • Validate and refine business cases and strategic plans for the new International Brand and Creative Hub teams.

Design and Setup of International Brand & Creative Hub

  • Develop and finalise the structures and processes needed for the new International Brand and Creative Hub teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and support for the new setup.
  • Initiate the recruitment of key personnel, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the department.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders through transparent communication and collaborative planning.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaboration to share best practices and successful strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and key milestones.

Resource Allocation and Budgeting

  • Determine the best use of resources, including budget, technology, and personnel, to support the new setup.
  • Develop a detailed budget plan and ensure efficient allocation of financial resources.
  • Monitor and manage project costs to ensure they stay within budget.

Drive Innovation & Efficiency

  • Explore new design trends, technologies, and tools to drive creative innovation and effectiveness.
  • Scope the adoption of cutting-edge tools like Generative AI to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and operations within the International Brand and Creative Hub teams.

About You:

Industry Expertise:

  • Strong retail background with a comprehensive understanding of brand and creative operations
  • Prior experience in setting up international brand or creative functions.
  • Good knowledge of marketing and media.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

  • Ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in complex global project delivery.
  • Evidence of driving cost savings and revenue growth

Strategic & Analytical Abilities:

  • Ability to shape and influence the strategy for the development of ALDI's International Brand & Creative Hub.
  • Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in business case writing.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where processes are still evolving.

Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in change management initiatives.
  • Ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams towards common goals.

What you will get in Return:

  • Salary from £61,065 to £94,240
  • Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm, with the opportunity of 2 days working from her per week, in our Camden office
