Description

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments
  • Resolving client discrepancies and short payments
  • Performing credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
  • Providing accurate and timely customer statements
  • Assisting in month-end reporting and reconciliation
  • Identifying and managing risk, minimising bad debt
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives
  • Compliance with all internal and external financial regulations

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of credit control processes
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
