We are looking for a Production Operative/ FLT Driver to join our clients chemical manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality products for various industries worldwide. Our client has a commitment to safety, innovation, and excellence resulting in them becoming a well-respected industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production machinery in line with company safety and quality standards.
- Loading and unloading bulk tankers containing different hazardous materials.
- Filling chemicals into IBCs, drums and kegs.
- Safely transport raw materials and finished products around the site using a forklift truck.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Applying labels to packaged products.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- In date RTITB certified forklift license.
- Prior experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
