About Brighton & Hove Albion FC

We compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage whilst keeping our Sussex community spirit. Our vision is to be a top ten Premier League club and a top four Women's Super League club. A commitment to high performance, high professional standards and making a difference is at the heart of everything we do.

Provide an elite player care experience for our women's first team players and families

This role will be an integral part of the Performance & Wellbeing team providing wellbeing support for the women's first team to help players thrive and deliver 'people to the door of performance'. You will develop professional relationships with players and representatives, acting as a point of contact for queries. You will ensure all players receive a high quality on-boarding process into the club for both overseas and domestic players using a holistic and multi-disciplinary team approach.

Do you have what it takes

We are looking for someone who has experience being an active champion of a person-centred wellbeing culture, with the ability to support and enable colleagues. You will have a clear understanding of the support required of professional athletes and understand the developmental, emotional, social, and educational challenges they face.

We are known for our culture and values leading the way, and the right people will need to fit into that. You will work hard, but the great thing about football is that you will see the results.

The Women's First Team Player Care Lead will need to work around the women's first team schedule, with 5 days out of 7 each week. Flexibility is required to work some evenings and weekends.

Our values play a pivotal role in our success

Our values are a set of filters through which we deliver to each other, our fans, our partners and our sponsors. As a team we live and breathe these values:

  • Treat People Well
  • Exceed Expectations

  • Make it Special

How we say thank you

In return for your hard work and commitment to us, some of the additional benefits you will receive will include, but not limited to:

  • Free breakfast and lunch at both sites
  • 23 days holiday rising with length of service (pro rata for part time staff)
  • Rewards platform, which includes access to 900+ retailers, a wellbeing centre and much more!
  • Priority access to match tickets and access to free WSL tickets for 24/25 season
  • In-house training programme and CPD opportunities
  • Discounts and benefits from partners and local businesses
