QA Manager - Multiple Opportunities

Following extensive growth and restructure, our client who is a leading manufacturer into retailers, has created multiple new roles within the Quality department. As they set out with new agendas driving the highest quality.

Reporting into the Site Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Food or Fresh Produce professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.

  • Implement Standards: Ensure technical food safety, quality standards, and customer Codes of Practice are followed in the factory.
  • Factory Inspections: Conduct regular factory walks to assess food safety and GMP standards, resolving issues promptly with key stakeholders.
  • Customer Complaints: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer complaints.
  • Audit Non-Conformances: Investigate and report on customer and BRC audit non-conformance reports to assist the Technical Manager.
  • Product Feasibility: Prepare for product launches in collaboration with Production and Process Development teams.
  • HACCP Implementation: Ensure the HACCP plan is implemented and audited according to the HACCP study.
  • Team Management: Directly manage QA Team Leaders and oversee QA/QC functions.
  • Customer Audits: Manage and prepare for customer audits.
  • Budget Management: Manage invoicing and reconcile the site budget.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure a safe workplace through risk assessments, training, inspections, and performance reviews.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop team members and wider stakeholder functions.
  • Technical Objectives: Manage the QA technical objectives defined by the Technical Manager.
  • Production Collaboration: Work with production supervisors/managers to prepare management reports and trend analysis, maintaining and displaying site KPIs.
  • CCP and Allergen Management: Ensure CCPs, Allergen Validations, and Verifications are accurate and up-to-date.
