Administration Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Admin Assistant/Stores Controller to join our team. This role involves assisting with daily office tasks and managing operations in our stores. The position also requires local driving and delivery duties using the company van.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support daily operations.
  • Scan and upload documents such as delivery notes and orders onto the MRP system.
  • Answer and direct calls as required.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for documents and records.
  • Organise, sort, and manage stock, including conducting stocktakes as required.
  • Allocate stock to Pick Lists and notify any discrepancies.
  • Book into stock any excess parts and check parts returned from sub-contractors.
  • Pack parts professionally ready for dispatch.
  • Deliver and collect parts locally using the company long wheelbase van.
  • Perform general stores duties, including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of MRP systems.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively.
  • Full clean driving license.
