Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) | £35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus | Accrington | Broad exposure | Hybrid + Flexible
Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave.
A generous starting salary is on offer up to £40,000 plus bonus, and the business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts with appropriate commentary where required
- To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
- Accruals and prepayment schedules
- To assist in completion accounting following acquisitions
- Complete VAT returns to HMRC
- To assist in the year end audit and provide supporting schedules
- To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Assisting the Group Financial Controller with any other ad hoc tasks required
Required Skills and Experience:
- Good management accounts experience
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or QBE
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Able to quickly adapt to change
- Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines
