Management Accountant

The Opportunity:Are you an experienced and qualified accountant looking for a new challenge?

We are recruiting for a to join the finance team at our clients' offices in Lincolnshire. A crucial role, you will manage the accounting, financial performance, and strategic planning of the rural enterprises our client offers. Reporting to the Farm Director you will proactively assess ways to optimise performance and contribute to the ongoing development of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide full financial analysis on the rural enterprises as and when required
  • Produce full management accounts on a quarterly basis
  • Manage the budget process and report monthly on performance to the finance team
  • Analyse and report on both the physical and financial performance of the enterprises to facilitate decisions
  • Develop and implement new systems and procedures to optimise operational performance
  • Support the Farm Director in the preparations of meetings, reports, and external presentations
  • Ensure effective auditing and compliance of the accounting systems

Skills you will need:

Essential:

  • Qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant, with 5 years experience in accounting and finance
  • Excellent analytical skills; reviewing reports, data analysis and identifying trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • A problem solver, with the ability to suggest and resolve in a timely manner
  • Ambitious with the drive for continuous improvement
  • A collaborative team player who works seamlessly across the business
  • Proficient in accounting software
