We are in search of a dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join a highly sought-after secondary school in Cheshunt. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to impart knowledge and skills to students at BTEC level, fostering their academic and personal growth.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students at BTEC level.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives and educational standards.
  • Employ diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and understanding.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Health and Social Care or a related field, or experience teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC level.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Teacher with excellent student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching methods.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player.
