Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students at BTEC level.
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives and educational standards.
- Employ diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment.
- Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and understanding.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Health and Social Care or a related field, or experience teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC level.
- Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Teacher with excellent student outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching methods.
