Excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join a reputable organisation who operate in the Automotive (repairs) industry. This is a single site role overseeing a new 22 acre facility in Leicestershire.

Description

Working on a brand new facility, initially it will be your responsibility to mobilise FM across the site ensuring appropriate strategies and processes are in place which align with the rest of the organisation. Once up and running, operating a business as usual (BAU) strategy ensuring smooth operation of all physical assets and infrastructure within the 22-acre facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and safety practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Managing budgets for capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenses (OpEx)
  • Coordinating with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Leveraging technology such as Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems and Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Conducting safety audits

Profile

  • Experience in a similar Facilities Management role, ideally within a light industrial setting (logistics, manufacturing, automotive etc)
  • IOSH / NEBOSH certification
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety / Compliance standards
  • Experience delivering CAPEX projects
  • Experience with new start ups / mobilisation would be advantageous
  • Able to manage budgets / finances
