Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant - SEND School - Liverpool

Tradewind Recruitment are working with client SEND Schools in Liverpool. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic recent graduates with a background in Psychology to work in our schools. The role involves supporting students with additional needs and offers an opportunity for Psychology graduates to use their degree and knowledge to gain valuable experience. This would be an excellent role for someone looking to pursue a career in Educational Psychology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with various additional needs.
- Monitor and track student progress.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to create a supportive environment to foster both social and academic development.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver effective support.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will work with children aged 3-19 years old who have a diagnosed SEND, including but not limited to:
- Dyslexia
- ASD
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health
- Global Delay
- Moderate Learning Difficulties
- Visual Impairments
- Medical Needs
