Curriculum Manager - HMP Exeter

Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Curriculum Manager at HMP Exeter.

This role is full-time, working 37 hours per week.

This is fixed-term until 31st March 2025.

Day to day duties of the role

  • Effective leadership, motivation and line management of the Weston College team
  • Ensuring regular meetings as designated under the PEF contract.
  • Ensuring appropriate recruitment, scheduling and utilisation of staff whilst assuring the quality of their work.
  • Monitoring and positively contributing to effective delivery of all targets including but not exclusively, recruitment, retention, achievement, success, and the teacher quality management plan.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Leadership and management experience ideally in an education or custodial setting.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills including an up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A Teaching Qualification at level 4 and above.
