Job Role: Passive Fire and Fit Out Manager

Area: Kent & London

Salary: £50k - £55k

PW Construction Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Passive Fire and Fit Out Manager for our award-winning main contractor client based in Kent.

They cover commercial project in Kent & London. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a team with development and progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project programmes including schedules, project milestones and deadlines. Preparation and management of forecast valuation documentation
  • Review and track labour/material to ensure projects remain within project cost plan.
  • Production of detailed material take off documentation to issue to buyers to procure.
  • Review sub-contractor quotations, ensuring all subcontractor purchase orders are raised and issued.
  • Ensure all work undertaken meets the standards of quality and complies with design specifications/project brief.
  • Undertake regular senior management site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship.
  • Production of CPP/health and safety documentation, ensuring review and sign off prior to the commencement of works onsite.
  • Arrange/undertake regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Management Fit Out Manager(s) and Supervisor(s) to ensure client expectations are achieved.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, addressing any client concerns or changes in requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and communications.
  • Document any changes or variations to the project scope.
  • Identify potential issues and proactively develop solutions.
  • Manage conflicts and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
  • Ensure quick resolution of any on-site problems to maintain project momentum.
  • Promote sustainable practices and materials where possible.
  • Stay updated on working practices, innovations and trends that could enhance future project delivery

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experience in presenting tenders to clients
  • Strong understanding of the commercial & education construction sectors
  • The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans
  • Driving licence.
