Job Role: Passive Fire and Fit Out Manager
Area: Kent & London
Salary: £50k - £55k
PW Construction Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Passive Fire and Fit Out Manager for our award-winning main contractor client based in Kent.
They cover commercial project in Kent & London. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a team with development and progression.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project programmes including schedules, project milestones and deadlines. Preparation and management of forecast valuation documentation
- Review and track labour/material to ensure projects remain within project cost plan.
- Production of detailed material take off documentation to issue to buyers to procure.
- Review sub-contractor quotations, ensuring all subcontractor purchase orders are raised and issued.
- Ensure all work undertaken meets the standards of quality and complies with design specifications/project brief.
- Undertake regular senior management site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship.
- Production of CPP/health and safety documentation, ensuring review and sign off prior to the commencement of works onsite.
- Arrange/undertake regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Management Fit Out Manager(s) and Supervisor(s) to ensure client expectations are achieved.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Provide regular updates on progress, addressing any client concerns or changes in requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and communications.
- Document any changes or variations to the project scope.
- Identify potential issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Manage conflicts and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
- Ensure quick resolution of any on-site problems to maintain project momentum.
- Promote sustainable practices and materials where possible.
- Stay updated on working practices, innovations and trends that could enhance future project delivery
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experience in presenting tenders to clients
- Strong understanding of the commercial & education construction sectors
- The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans
- Driving licence.
