Head of IT
Head of IT is required by a successful Brighton based ecommerce company to drive their IT strategy, manage their internal systems, and safeguard their digital infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the secure, effective, and robust operation of all their IT systems, data, hardware, and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee secure and efficient management of all internal IT systems and applications
- Lead and develop their IT team, managing budgets and third-party providers
- Ensure Cyber Essentials Plus, PCI compliance, and progress towards ISO accreditation
- Implement and maintain security policies across a hybrid workforce
- Manage GDPR compliance
Requirements:
- 5+ years in IT leadership
- Expertise in Microsoft systems (Azure, Office365, endpoints)
- Strong network experience (SonicWall, Palo Alto, HP Networks)
- Security experience from policy implementation to third-party risk management
- Excellent communication and a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience in managing hybrid workforce security controls
Nice to Have:
- AWS expertise
- ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST security frameworks
- Technical degree or relevant IT & Security certifications

70k to 80k plus bonus plus benefits
