**Merchandiser (Field Based) - Northwest - Global Manufacturer**
We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer in one of the biggest growth sectors across the UK. This is a great opportunity where our client is looking for people with the right characteristics and personality to work within retail stores to help promote their products. Role:
You will be responsible for -
- Product Demonstrations: conduct live product demonstrations at retail locations showcasing the unique benefits and features.
- Trade Counter Training: training the staff at their trade counters, ensure that their employees are well-versed in our product range, enabling them to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Visit national merchant branches, delivering tailored basic training sessions and product demonstrations.
- Event Participation: support the businesses at trade shows and training sessions, representing our brands and engaging with potential customers in meaningful ways.
- Trade Days: Arrange, prepare and attend trade days in stores, managing a small stand with product information to promote their products to customers.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will -
- Confident and strong attention to detail
- Any experience working in trade retail sites such as Travis Perkins, Wickes, Jewson, Tool Station, etc would be beneficial but not essential
- Organisation skills, with the ability to plan your day-to-day activities.
- Team working
- MUST have a full driving license (field-based role)
- Good at building relationships
