Reablement Service
3 month initial contract with the view of extension
£36p/h
The role is city wide although you will be predominantly based in the north of Manchester (occasional home working considered)
35hrs per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 4:30)
Our Local Authority Client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their Reablement Service in Manchester to support vulnerable adults to remain at home and be as independent as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and reviews for a range of people on the Reablement pathway.
- Contribute to goal setting and support planning for a range of people on the Reablement pathway.
- Undertake moving and handling risk assessments, identifying and ordering appropriate and safe equipment.
- Provide advice and guidance to Reablement staff on specialist equipment and techniques to support people on the Reablement pathway.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with at least one recognised OT qualification.
- Must have experience in equipment and adaptations and goal setting.
