Job Title: HR Advisor (Temporary, 12-month contract)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? Our client, a respected organisation in the law enforcement sector, is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing proactive and efficient HR support to enhance the organisation's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely professional HR advice, considering the organisational impacts against a backdrop of force, regional, and national considerations and influences.
Coach and support employees to enable the early resolution of workplace issues, improving manager and business confidence.
Liaise with senior managers and stakeholders at the Force, regional, and national levels to resolve complex employment matters and achieve sustainable solutions.
Utilise HR management information systems to input, search, and retrieve required data, and prepare and collate HR statistical data for various audiences.
Offer professional advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues, including reconciliation methods and legislation at national, regional, and local levels.
Support day-to-day core HR activities, ensuring best practise, HR and legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Collaborate and negotiate with staff associations and other stakeholders, utilising excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

CIPD Level 5 HR Qualification or equivalent with CIPD membership.
Experience in providing accurate and timely professional HR advice, considering organisational impacts.
Knowledge of solution-focused support for early resolution of workplace issues and coaching managers.
Familiarity with HR management information systems, Microsoft Office products, and HR statistical data analysis.
Proactive mindset, strong presentation skills, and ability to forge and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people across boundaries.
Understanding of legislation, laws, and regulations relating to HR matters, including the Equality Act 2010 and Data Protection Act 1998.
