An established and respected international, Lloyds broker is seeking to recruit an experienced Marine Broker Support Technician.
Working closely with the Marine broking team you will provide a range of services to support the relationship with clients and markets.
You will be responsible for a range of technical support functions that will facilitate the successful placement and servicing of international marine business.
Marine Technician / Overview
- Work with clients and brokers to create MRC slips and endorsements.
- Ensure that local taxes considerations and other territorial requirements are satisfied
- Liaise with the operations team to ensure accurate processing.
- Co-ordinate with the IBA team to manage premium issues
- Review and verify market and client documentation.
- Oversee broking to overseas markets
- Collaborate with clients to provide support through the placement process.
- Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships
- Manage the renewal process
What is required
- Experience of a technical support role within the Lloyds / London market.
- Any marine classes and familiarity with Marine Liabilities, Ports and Terminals would be ideal, but not essential.
- Experience using any of the following would be preferable - Brokasure, PPL, whitespace, Crystal, Atlas, Impact
