Senior Firmware Engineer

As a Senior Firmware Engineer you will be a core member of the embedded software team and will be involved in the AUTOSAR Classic Base Software (BSW) development, testing and integration

You will contribute technical knowledge and leverage prior project experience working on embedded C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full BSW stack for all projects, based on previous experience in working on the AUTOSAR Classic BSW stack.
  • Contribute as a developer using previous experience in embedded C (including MISRA C), Matlab & Simulink, across multiple projects.
  • Work on the embedded software development lifecycle of microcontrollers such as the 32-bit or similar.
  • Highly desirable if you are able to work on ETAS BSW stack areas such as SBC, DBC, CAN, SPI, DIO, Bootloaders, ComM, DET, EcuM, Diagnostics & others, across the full V-cycle (from requirements to CAT).
  • Lead work in aligning the embedded code development to standards such as ISO 26262, ISO14229, ISO 15765 (desired).
  • Implement & deploy Unit Testing. You will create and run tests such as static code analysis tests, coverage testing etc.
  • Undertake configuration activities using tools such as ETAS ISOLAR or similar (desired).
  • Use tools such as CANdela, CANope, CANlyser, P-CAN, ETAS INCA, Windchill or similar (desired).
  • Use their experience and knowledge of V-cycle development using Agile Scrum; Knowledge of ASPICE environment (desirable).
  • Will create automated generic unit testing scripts conforming to relevant standards.
  • Will be able to practice regularly T-shirt sizing of time and effort for tasks accurately and work according to the project plan.

ETAS BSW stack, Windchill, ISOLAR, NI tools, dSPACE, Python, ISO 26262, ISO14229, ISO 15765, MS-Project, Scrum, ASPICE, AUTOSAR Classic, ETAS INCA, Vector CANAPE, CANdela, CAN, SBC, DBC, CAN, SPI, DIO, ComM, DET, EcuM , , Integration testing & support, etc.

Experience

Essential - Experience in embedded C, bootloaders, microcontrollers, Matlab & Simulink, Scrum, Testing.

Desirable - Automotive/Motorsport/Aerospace/Consumer Electronics and similar, experience in AUTOSAR Classic BSW stack
