Location: South Yorkshire

Compensation: £75,000 - £85,000 + Package

We are looking for an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Sales Director for our client. This position offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious Sales Director to progress towards a future Managing Director role. The selected individual will be responsible for driving growth, managing both local and international operations, engaging with the global business network, and maintaining the company's market leadership. Experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on international growth within a manufacturing component service/solution business is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies aimed at driving growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Establish and pursue both long-term and short-term objectives aligned with the company's overall goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership, setting a clear strategic direction for the company.
  • Streamline and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and financial health.
  • Create and refine reporting tools for effective performance tracking and analysis.
  • Oversee budgeting processes to ensure robust financial management.
  • Leverage market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands.
  • Lead and motivate executives and managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry experts and elevate the company's public profile through networking and external engagements.
  • Manage all aspects of the business both in the UK and internationally, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships are maintained.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven success in a truly international sales role is essential.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Experience within a component production/solution environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in strategic marketing and business growth, with a track record of engaging new and existing clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and market expansion through effective strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and business networking.
  • Proven ability to manage and thrive in complex business environments.
