Our client, a global organisation with a reputation for providing excellent service to its customers, as well as a flexible and enjoyable working environment, is looking to hire a Management Accountant on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role and a fixed term contract until Feb 2025, so candidates must be available immediately to start as soon as possible and be able to commute to Luton 2 - 3 days per week.
Main duties include:
- Ensuring timely financial reports are generated
- Reviewing P&Ls at month end against budgets
- Providing insightful variance analysis explaining all relevant differences
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Business partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and controls
- Supporting the UK Finance Manager
- Preparing tax and statutory packs
- Ensuring sales invoicing is correct
- Reviewing and approving supplier invoices
- Assisting the FP&A team on budgets and quarterly forecasting process
Key skills & experience includes:
- Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment within management accounting
- High levels of integrity and attention to detail
- Effective at planning, organisation and ownership of tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong excel skills
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations, working to tight deadlines.
