Location: Barnsley - Office based

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £30k - £35k

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting an Accounts Manager for a Solicitors based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for the Accounts Manager:

  • Responsibility for financial administration. This includes credit control, cash flow and management of financial information
  • Assisting with banking negotiations and annual budget
  • All aspects of payroll and VAT
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Daily banking and recording of any financial transactions
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Sending telegraphic transfers
  • Preparation of financial information for monthly meetings
  • Updating and care of financial computer files
  • Credit control
  • Be the appointed COFA - Compliance Officer for Finance Administration
  • Attend regular courses relating to COFA responsibilities
  • Attend regular courses relating to Solicitors Account rules

Qualifications and Accountability:

  • Ability to communicate with clients, service providers and colleagues
  • Knowledge of solicitor's accounts rules
