My client, a specialist in the energy solutions industry is looking to recruit a Group Management Accountant. This role will work closely with the finance team and business divisions to make sure everything is running smoothly, from month-end accounts to budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Month-End Ownership: You'll manage the full month-end process, including preparing consolidated management accounts and the monthly reporting pack.
- P&L & Margin Analysis: You'll handle group P&L reconciliations, keeping an eye on revenue and gross margins for each business unit.
- Balance Sheet Mastery: Responsible for reconciling the entity and group balance sheets like a pro.
- Cashflow Forecasting: Weekly cashflow forecasting for each business unit will be in your hands.
- Stock Management: Managing stock take processes and reconciling stock movements will be a key part of your role.
- KPI Tracking: Collaborate with Divisional Managers to make sure all business unit KPIs are tracked and reported accurately.
- Team Support: You'll provide cover for other finance team members when needed and manage weekly 1:1s with the Assistant Management Accountant.
- Year-End Support: Help prep for the year-end audit and assist with any ad-hoc analysis the CFO or Financial Controller may need.
- ERP Superuser: Be the go-to person for ERP system maintenance and training.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in management accounting and a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- A proactive problem solver who's not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Someone who's comfortable with numbers, enjoys working with a team, and isn't shy about suggesting improvements.
