Job Title: Class 1 and 2 Drivers
Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Logistics, Procurement, Distribution and Supply Chain
Salary: £13 - £25 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence
- CPC qualification
- Good driving record with no major violations
- Excellent understanding of tachograph regulations
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 driver
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- ADR certification
- Experience in the logistics industry
Working Conditions:
- Driving long distances and varying shifts
- Physical fitness to load and unload goods if required
- Working in different weather conditions
