We are expanding our operations team and looking for an Events & Membership Coordinator to join us. This role will involve regular admin support as well as planning of events. It is a varied role with no two days being the same. Some travel will be required.
Roles & Responsibilities
To support the Delegant Team in all aspects of events preparation and delivery. Events may range from small webinars through to global conferences. This may include:
- Venue finding
- Booking meeting rooms and setting up conference calls
- Responding to delegate enquiries
- Dealing with delegate registration and payments
- Dealing with venues including menus, rooming lists, access times
- Client liaison
- Working alongside finance to monitor budgets
- Speaker/Exhibitor/Sponsor communications
- Travel arrangements for VIPs
- Send Certificates to attendees (if required)
- Attendance onsite at events (if required)
To support the Delegant Team in all aspects of Association & Membership Management. This may include:
- Membership/association administration
- Responding to general and membership enquiries
- Membership support for new applications and renewals
- Updating membership systems
- Organising committee meetings
- Supporting working groups
Qualifications & Skills
A strong administration background, ideally with previous experience of organising corporate events.
It is expected that the Event & Membership Coordinator will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Training will be provided in Membership systems including WordPress and WooCommerce

Reporting and Objectives
The Event & Membership Coordinator will report to the Managing Director of Delegant. This is an office based role.
