Charity People are partnering with a charity providing free, life-saving treatment to suicidal men at their centres in Liverpool, London, and Newcastle.

Position: Interim Senior Fundraising Consultant
Type: Part-time (3-4 days per week)
Duration: 3 months
Location: Hybrid (London-based), with consideration for fully remote work with occasional visits to the office in the first month
Pay: £382 per day (PAYE), £500 per day (Ltd)
Start Date: Immediate start essential

Role Overview

Month 1:

  • Provide interim leadership support to the fundraising team.
  • Oversee the fundraising function and ensure appropriate support is in place.

Months 2-3:

  • Work closely with the Head of Fundraising at a strategic level.
  • Advise on strengthening the charity's position to meet fundraising targets.
  • Consult on key priority areas.
  • Offer expertise to further fundraising plans as the charity grows into a national entity.
  • Prepare the groundwork for the new permanent Philanthropy Lead.

Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience in a senior fundraising role.
  • Comfortable advising and providing feedback on current practices.
  • Previous leadership/consultancy experience.
  • Highly skilled in communication, building rapport, and forming positive working relationships quickly.
  • Ability to influence for results.
