LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school located in Nottingham, Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17. The role will require you to support students in KS3 & KS4, supporting them to engage with learning day-day. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff & learning support staff to provide the best possible support for students.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to students in KS3 & KS4
- Deliver personalised 1-1 and small group support, with an understanding of individual needs
- Build supportive relationships with students
- Monitor and encourage students' social, emotional and academic growth
- Track student progress, setting and evaluating targets and goals for improvements
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification/degree is desirable for this role
- Previous experience involving working with children/young people within a school setting
- Have a genuine interest in education and supporting students to develop and achieve
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate and two references are a requirement for this role
