iMultiply are partnering with a well-established Scottish business requiring an Accounts Assistant for their Glasgow office on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Company

This business is undoubtedly one of the market leaders within their sector working with a number of interesting projects.

The Role

Due to maternity leave, this company is looking to hire an Accounts Assistant to add value to the finance team whilst also developing and progressing their own accounting skillset with room for growth over the next 12 months.

The Accounts Assistant's role includes the creation, maintenance, control and analysis of all accounting records for the company, from transactional processing through to draft management accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Managing petty cash
  • Reconciling all bank transactions
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Support annual audit processes

To be considered for this opportunity, you must display the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
  • Experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger management
  • Ability to present ideas and information, tailored for each audience
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organised with diligent and acute attention to detail

This role offers a starting salary between up to £26,000 as well as a range of other benefits..
