Mortgage and Protection Adviser
As an AFH employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser, your role is to ascertain clients' mortgage and protection needs, investigate and research suitable options and present suitable solutions and recommendations based on their needs, affordability and eligibility.
Your role will be mainly desk based, working from our Bromsgrove Head Office, where you will utilise video conferencing tools, such as Microsoft Teams, as a preferred method of contact supported by e-mail and telephone as appropriate
As our Mortgage and Protection Adviser you will be responsible for:
- Develop an understanding of the AFH Financial Group's strategy and core values.
- At all times to represent the AFH brand in a professional and courteous manner.
- To comply with AFH's advice process and maintain regulatory competence and KPI standards.
- Follow the Regulated Advice Process to build long term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
- Acquire new clients, from referrals, professional introducers and company lead generation programmes.
- Guiding clients through the buying process which may mean liaising with solicitors and estate agents as well as your clients.
- Developing and maintaining good client & introducer relationships through client meetings and ongoing feedback to the team and Contact Centre.
- Ensuring all activities are completed in a timely, compliant manner.
What we are looking for in our Mortgage and Protection Adviser:
- Minimum CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
- R05 or equivalent Protection Qualification.
- Able to Demonstrate a client centric approach, with excellent interpersonal skills, approachability and professionalism.
- Well presented, articulate and dedicated to doing the right thing for our clients.
- Capable IT skills and embracive of the new virtual/digital ways to communicate with Clients.
- Ability to network and attract new Clients through business development and effective business planning.
