Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants and public area cleaners.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to established standards.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist in the scheduling of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient coverage and optimal productivity.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to coordinate guest services and maintain seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a luxury hotel environment, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in a hospitality setting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests.
