Our client is wellknown multi academy trust in the North. Who are looking for a Finance Assistantto start immediately on an 3 month temporary contract.
Your new role
As theFinance Assistant you will help support the Head of Finance alongside;
- Ensure Purchase Orders, are checked for accuracy andforwarded to suppliers
- Processing of invoices, checking to Purchase Ordersand goods received notes, ensuring appropriate authorisation and ready forpayment.
- Monitoring budgets andperformance of the schools
- Collection, counting and banking of cash andmaintenance of appropriate financial records
- Dealing with queries from suppliers (includingstatements), debtors, budget holders and other Academy staff.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previousexperience in finance or accounting roles
- Experienceworking in a school or education background (desirable)
- Experiencewith PS Financials (Essential)
- Abilityto work independent and in team environment
- Strongexcel skills
What you'll get in return
