FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
Salary: £65,000-£70,000
Location: London - flexible working arrangement: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you'll do:
- Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's financial objectives.
- Support initiatives targeted at financial processes improvement and implementation of changes to achieve efficiencies
- Write, review and ensure compliance with finance policies across the Group
- Perform quarterly balance sheet reviews/reconciliations for international subsidiaries
- Assist with the review of monthly management accounts and ensure all variances are fully explained
- Provide assistance and guidance to finance teams in Africa and South America to improve their technical, business and analytical skills
- Manage, review and investigate all aged open POs and related down payments
- Perform ad hoc financial data analysis for post-acquisition as required
- Assist and support with the review of annual budget process
- Support the vendor verification and compliance process
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience in cost accounting principles within the Oil and Gas industry. You will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience accountant, with over three years post-qualification experience ideally.
- Qualified accountant with 3 years+ PQE or QBE
- 5 years relevant experience of cost accounting principles preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word , MS Powerpoint and SAP
- Experience in the use of Power BI would be ideal but not essential
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting rules, financial reporting, technical skills would be an advantage
- Fluent English - Portuguese/ French is advantageous but not essential
