Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and benefits
Location: Hatfield

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to provide financial analysis to their Finance Team. This role is integral to implementing and embedding the company vision and behaviours across all operations. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation of financial strategies. You will take full responsibility for preparing Management Accounts at both depot and total company level, maintaining balance sheets, preparing variance analysis, presenting results to the board of directors, conducting monthly review meetings with department managers, and overseeing company-wide budgeting.

  • End to end preparation of Management Accounts
  • Month end journals including accruals & prepayments
  • Balance Sheet maintenance & reconciliations
  • Preparation of variance analysis and commentary for review
  • Presentation of results to the board of directors
  • Conducting monthly review meetings with department managers
  • Company-wide budgeting and reforecasting

What you bring:

As a Management Accountant, you bring a wealth of skills to our client's team. You are either a finalist or a qualified accountant/QBE with advanced Excel skills. Your strong technical accounting ability allows you to hit the ground running and understand existing spreadsheets quickly. You have a proven eye for detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues at all levels. Your experience in owning the Management Accounts process makes you an invaluable asset to any finance team.
