Global Accounting Network are partnered exclusively with a successful and growing facilities company. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team for a 12 month contract as Maternity Cover.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to join a supportive team in a varied role. This role is based in the office 5 days a week, which will allow you to work closely with experienced accountants and give you exposure to the wider finance function.
The role:
- Support with month end duties such as:
- Payroll duties include:
- Cash allocation,
- Ledger updates,
- Bank reconciliations
- Run and Issue invoicing stats
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Accruals and prepayments
- Cash flow forecast
- Process overtime, advances, travel loans
- Process new tax codes and any new student loans
- Liaise with HR to process starters/leaver and changes
- Run reports as and when necesarry
The person:
- Experience carrying out month end duties
- Experience in supporting with payroll responsibilities
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
