Veritas Education is actively seeking both Graduate and Experienced Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated team, working with a range of schools in the Bradford area. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring students stay engaged with their learning activities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage student behavior in line with school policies
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed
- Maintain a positive learning environment and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a seamless continuation of education during teacher absences
Requirements:
- For Graduates: A degree in any discipline and a strong interest in education
- For Experienced Cover Supervisors: Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in managing classroom behavior and engaging with students
- Adaptability to work in different school environments and with diverse student groups
- A commitment to supporting student learning and development
