HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an educational facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff management, student welfare, administration, finance, catering, compliance, health and safety, maintenance, and overall facility management.
You will be responsible for management of all non-teaching staff to include, administration, operations, accommodation, student services, housekeeping, catering, and building maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure smooth operations of the centre
- Oversee student welfare and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting and maintain the feedback programme
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols
- Manage facility maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
- Develop exciting and engaging new products to expand a portfolio to new and existing customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role in the EFL industry or in managing large teams and budgets in a multi-faceted leisure, educational, sports, or hospitality business
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry best practices and current trends
- Safeguarding Knowledge
