Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school located in Croydon. This full-time position starting September 2024 will initially be on supply through Horizon Teachers, with the potential to become a permanent staff member. The school is a co-educational special school specialising in autism and complex needs and addresses the social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs of pupils aged 2 - 19.

Criteria for this role

  • Display a genuine desire to join a committed team of SEND staff.
  • Possess a passion for supporting children with mild learning difficulties.
  • Have prior experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Demonstrate commitment and professionalism in your work.
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude
