Client:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Capital Projects Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in the Greater Manchester region.
The role will require a highly capable professional with a background of working within large complex organisations, with a track-record of successful delivery of capital projects - preferably within a healthcare environment.
Role:
Responsibilities will include;
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Knowledge & understanding of the complex integration of engineering & building services involved within planning, design & implementation of schemes
- Health & Safety legislation
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and expectations
- Liaise with senior management, service users and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Set up and manage construction contracts
- Manage the appointment of consultants and contractors
- Manage budget costs associated with capital projects
The successful candidate will have;
- Significant experience within a Capital related leadership role – ideally with exposure to working within public buildings or healthcare estates
- The successful candidate will possess a significant amount of statutory compliance knowledge and strategic leadership whilst maintaining a close focus on the financial budget and specialist estates/capital requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects
