Charity Fundraising Administrator

Role - NHS Charity Fundraising Administrator

Location - Brighton (multi-site)

Term - Full time Temp contract (3 months)

Rate - £13.28 per hour

Hours - 0900 - 1700

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Fundraising

  • Engage with patients, visitors, and staff to recruit donors face-to-face.
  • Promote charity challenge events including abseils, sky-dives, marathons, and more.
  • Promote commercial events such as MyMusic gigs, comedy nights, and exhibitions in the hospital's Heritage Space.
  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are well-organised and promoted.
  • Assist in the development of new fundraising initiatives and activities.
  • Nurture relationships with hospital staff to encourage participation in fundraising activities and events and lifting the profile of the charity internally
  • Help to develop and train volunteers

Communication

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing donors.
  • Communicate the mission and goals of the charity effectively to inspire donations.
  • Provide information about upcoming events and ways to support the charity.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to develop promotional materials and social media content.

Administrative

  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and donations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling donor information.
  • Assist with the management of fundraising materials and resources

Immediate start subject to NHS compliance checks.
