This is a newly created position within a leading and fast growing IT consultancy, within the Service Management, Design & Transition.

The Head of Service Definition & Design will be responsible for leading this service management function, engaging with customers, leading pre-sales, and responsible for service transition and delivery and decommissioning. This includes guiding principles, processes and working closely with the sales teams and delivery functions.

You'll be the centre of excellent for all things service delivery, service design and ITIL.

Working for a leading IT consultancy

£70,000 - £85,000 base + 10-15% bonus

Required Skills:

  • Excellent and proven experience leading Service Definition, Service Transition & Service Design functions
  • Experience of working in an IT consultancy & Managed Service Provider environment
  • Excellent ITIL experience, ideally ITIL v4 certified
  • Strong experience of pre-sales
  • Excellent experience of designing & delivering customer service management projects
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit Head of Service Definition / Head of Service Management / Head of Service Transition / Head of Service Design, who has strong experience in leading teams across Service Definition & Design in a consultancy / IT service provider environment.

This Head of Service Definition and Design position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based (from South-East England for ad hoc client travel). The position will be paying from £75,000 - £85,000 + 10-15% bonus - depending upon background and experience.
