Site-Based Maintenance Electrician

Title: Site-Based Maintenance Electrician
Location: Sedgefield Hospital
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: upto £35k per annum plus company van and fuel card
Hours: 38.75, Monday to Friday. Standard hours 8am to 4pm
On call rota: 1 in 4 week

Main Duties:

  • Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on
  • Service and repair of motor, pumps, lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
  • Competent on BMS control systems and PAT tester
  • Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group

Candidate Qualifications/Experience

  • Qualified Electrician:

  • City & Guilds or equivalent

  • 18th Edition City and Guilds

  • Experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting, electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing

  • Valid UK Driving Licence required.

  • DBS Check
