Client Relationship Manager

Client Relationship Manager required. Based in Putney. Would suit either a graduate or someone educated to A levels who has gained a few years work experience.

This role could also be suitable for a career changer maybe a person who is working in a client focused role and is seeking a sales role in a professional organisation.

Basic salary £23,000 - £25,000 with an OTE c. £30,000. Excellent opportunity to build a career in a financial planning company.

This is a great opportunity to join a business that is established and growing. The role is Client Relationship Manager however, hard work and study could lead you into other areas of our business in the future such as management or financial advising.

The CRMs responsibility is the generation of new business, and the key focus is sales and marketing. The successful individual will be using data provided to research the target market, decide how to reach out to them and contacting them to make appointments. You will be working hand in hand with a fully qualified adviser and supporting the client and adviser throughout the advice process and beyond.

The role

Reporting to the Client Relationship Director, the duties are varied and will include:

  • Contacting existing clients of the business and prospecting for new ones from leads provided.
  • Completing client fact finds.
  • Identifying needs and priorities of the client.
  • Completing files in preparation for an adviser call.
  • Scheduling client appointments in the advisers diary.
  • Managing and assisting with the ongoing servicing of existing clients.
  • Preparing and sending Letters of Authority to clients and following up on outstanding paperwork with them.
  • Assisting the adviser to bringing cases to a close.

Essential skills

  • Either a recent graduate or someone who has already been working for a while and is seeking a change of direction. Applications are also invited A level candidates with work experience.
  • Any relevant experience in financial services or specifically financial planning would be an advantage but this is not a prerequisite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • An articulate telephone manner.
  • Care about deadlines and be able to deliver quality work on time.
  • Client care focussed.
  • Be organised and able to focus on one task at a time.

Additional information

The role has a basic salary plus commission with targeted earnings of £30,000. The role is office based for four days with one day per week at home.
