My Client a leading UK steel stockholder, is experiencing ongoing growth and expansion. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their Rainham, Essex depot.
Job Role:
- Installation, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic systems
- Installation, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems
- Welding (MIG, ARC), cutting, and fabrication skills
- Fault finding and rectification
- Periodic service and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions
- Flexibility to work paid overtime when necessary
- Basic working hours: 8 am - 5:30 pm, 42.5 hours per week
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance within a production environment
- Competent in mechanical repairs and maintenance, including
bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Able to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
- Good command of the English language
- Good timekeeping skills
