Some of your core requirements to get this job are:

  • Relevant teaching experience and qualifications - PGCE, QTS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service(willingness to apply for one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK(sponsorship is not available with this role)
  • Able to reference your recent teaching work
  • Must be able to provide 2 professional teaching references
  • Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm

Your main responsibilities as a KS3 Science teacher will be:

  • Design and deliver dynamic and engaging science lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills through hands-on experiments, projects, and discussions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate science with other subjects.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being
