Despatch Operative
Location - Margate
Hourly Rate - £11.44
Hours - Monday to Friday 7.45 am to 4 pm

A global Manufacturing organisation in Margate is looking for a Despatch Operator to join their team.
Provided with expert training, you will be responsible for despatching and chasing production orders to ensure on-time delivery.
About the role
You will be supporting the despatch process using the company ERP system, as well as chasing orders throughout the site to ensure on-time delivery.
Duties for the role of Despatch Operative
- Select parts of various sizes for different customer orders
- Package parts of various sizes for diverse customer orders
- Input data into multiple platforms and operating systems
- Perform heavy lifting as needed due to the nature of the products
- Assist with inventory checks and counting
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and work areas
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
Skills you will need for the role of the Despatch Operative
- Experience working within the manufacturing or despatch setting
- Strong and proven Mathematics skills are essential
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system is preferred but not essential
- Must own steel-toe-capped safety boots
- Strong IT and Administrative skills as well as the ability to communicate across all levels
