Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

Are you passionate about operations and logistics? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We're looking for an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver excellence across our supply chain. In this role, you'll work closely with the Operations team to ensure our products are delivered on time, in the right quantity, and in line with our business strategy. You'll also be key in supporting various projects that drive our growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UK Order Management: Handle daily order processing using SAP, ensuring alignment with commercial agreements. Manage stock dispatches, monitor out-of-stock situations, and maintain strong relationships with retailer partners.
  • International Order Management: Oversee international orders, ensuring they align with commercial agreements. Optimize dispatch processes, manage export documentation, and collaborate with the International Sales team to improve processes.
  • Logistics Partners: Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives alongside the Logistics Manager.
  • Stock Reconciliation: Reconcile stock data between our 3PL partners and internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with colleagues across the group to implement best practices and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Sales Team Support: Collaborate with the Sales team to align on demand and stock positions, provide weekly service level updates, and address abnormal demand.
  • Claims Management: Investigate and resolve delivery-related invoicing claims with logistics partners and the Finance team.
  • New Product Development: Represent the logistics team in new product launch projects, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
  • Operations Support: Provide ad-hoc support to the Operations team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, preferably within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, particularly SAP/M3 for order processing.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables & lookups), with testing during the interview process.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to resolve issues collaboratively across the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion and determination to succeed.
  • Knowledge or experience in production planning is a plus.
