Management Accountant - Wilmslow
Part Time (30 hours a week)
£35,000pa (FTE)
We are supporting a fantastic client who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a part time permanent basis. Salary for the role is dependent on experience but £35,000pa FTE.
The role is full time of site for the part time duration with free on site parking. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and looking to make a real impact in a small business environment.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial health and success of our business. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial information, analysing business performance, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities as a Management Accountant:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee and improve financial processes and controls.
- Liaise with external accountants for year-end financial statements and tax compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
Requirements of the role:
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a small business environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
