Regional ER Advisor Opportunity – South West!
I am looking to speak to experienced Employee Relations Advisors looking to join my clients expanding team. This role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive range of company benefits. The position can be based in one of their South West offices (Truro, Barnstaple, Taunton, Yeovil, or Dorchester) or home based where you will cover this region with national travel and occasional overnight stays required.
Day to Day of the role:
- Advise, guide, and support managers with all matters relating to employee relations, including disciplinary and welfare cases, capability, grievance, and coaching managers where appropriate.
- Manage cases effectively, including employment tribunals.
- Develop strong relationships within the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.
- Proactively identify trends and potential issues, offering advice and suggestions.
- Support on ad-hoc HR projects as required.
- Regular business travel to guide and support on cases face to face.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Competent IT skills.
- Good knowledge of employment law.
- Knowledge of ER procedures and processes, including employment tribunals, disability, diversity, and equal opportunities.
- Ideally multisite experience
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working autonomously while managing a large number of cases simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
