Your New Role
Working within one of the South Easts most prestigious financial services organisations. The role involves advising corporates on UK tax, social security, and payroll implications for assignment moves, coordinating with overseas offices on host country requirements, and conducting tax briefings for individuals moving to or from the UK, covering areas such as income, corporate structures, and non-residency rules. Responsibilities include managing the tax return process for clients, identifying issues needing further advice, addressing client queries on various tax matters, and handling requests such as non-resident capital gains tax returns and certificates of residence. The position also involves collaboration with the payroll bureau on expatriate matters, conducting technical research, preparing reports, managing HMRC inquiries, and ensuring timely fee invoicing.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally you will have a strong tax advisory background, ideally working within a practice. You must be an individual with excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long term relationships with clients, alongside excellent technical knowledge of UK income and capital taxation. French speaking is not a must, but certainly a desirable. Personality wise, you will have a growth mindset, with aspirations to develop quickly within your career.
